Daisy Rogers is a largely self-taught professional fine artist based in west Hampshire, near Stockbridge with her young family. Working across landscapes and portraiture, Daisy’s style is contemporary and expressive. She works predominantly in pastels, oils and charcoal to capture the light and emotion of a fleeting moment. She is particularly captivated by the intense feelings intrinsic in our interactions with the landscape around us, and her work often explores nature’s great power.
Daisy’s expressive style comes from instinct and a personal response to the landscape she sees; influences include painters of the English landscape tradition such as Turner and Constable, Impressionists such as Berthe Morisot and Mary Cassatt and contemporary painters including Louise Balaam, Maria Luisa Hernandez and Roos Schuring.
She shows with Josie Eastwood Fine Art, at select charitable exhibitions and also from her home studio in the Wallops.
Portraits start from £350 for a 25x35cm pastel portrait on paper; other sizes and oil portraits are also possible, at differing price points. Landscape commissions follow a bespoke pricing structure depending on size and timeframe, starting from £225 for a 5×7.5” oil and oil pastel sketch on paper. Daisy can also arrange beautiful, gallery level framing through her fantastic framers, QED Framing, in Pewsey.
