Welcome to Jake’s Circus Skills
Based in Hampshire, we travel all over the South of England visiting Schools, Nurseries, Clubs, Festivals and Parties providing fun, frolics, play and the opportunity to learn all sorts of exciting and interesting circus skills!
With a huge and varied collection of circus equipment, we can teach up to 40 people at once with our structured Circus Skills Workshops, or up to 100 people with our Circus Skills Drop-In sessions.
Our Circus Skills Workshops are great for nurseries, schools, clubs like Brownies and Beavers, festivals such as the Winchester Hat Festival as well as youth clubs, birthday parties and also for background entertainment at office parties and Christmas do’s!
We have a HUGE STAR SHADE CANOPY spanning 10 metres Diameter and stands 5m tall. This is useful to keep the sun and rain off the customers and also acts as a very visible attraction to any festival or party.
Jake’s Circus Skills is run by Steve Welford who got hooked on juggling after being determined to get a plate spinning during a Butlins “have-a-go-session”! Now, a fantastic performer and concienscious teacher of children and adults alike, Steve is a member of Equity, following their Code of Conduct, is CRB checked, has First Aid certification and £10 Million Public Liability Insurance.
Jake’s Circus Skills is based in central Hampshire and we can travel across the South of England including Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Sussex and the Isle of Wight. A typical 2 hour workshop costs £190 – do contact me for a more comprehensive quote based on your specific needs.
TESTIMONIALS:
“Thank you very very much for a wonderful Circus Workshop yesterday. Everyone enjoyed the evening and it was a great success.”
Thank you, Sara and the 2nd Hungerford Brownies
“Thank you so much for an incredible day – we all enjoyed it – you’re right! It was exhausting but so worthwhile and magical to have played it as a surprise for the children and parents. Many were in tears (of happiness) and we had so many positive comments from them at the end of the day – thank you for making it possible, and for having such patience and control with the children. I’ve wanted to know how to use a diabolo for ages – and now I do! There are some lovely pictures from the day on the school website and I’ll get one of the children to write a report to accompany it today.”
