At West Hampshire School of Art, we provide high quality, holistic and tailored art courses & workshops for adults and children in the west Hampshire area, at our Over Wallop and Norman Court studios.
At the heart of what we do is bringing our community together through improved access to the arts, boosting well-being, reducing stress and increasing creativity.
Our profits will fund outreach programmes for all ages, starting from autumn 2019.

A bit about WHSoA
West Hampshire School of Art is a Community Interest Company, created to provide fine art courses & workshops to adults and children aged 3 and over. Set up by our Director and Lead Tutor, professional fine artist Daisy Rogers (daisyrogers.co.uk), to benefit the local community, our profits and further fundraising efforts (including an annual summer exhibition) will fund outreach work and a local schools art programme.
As a CIC, WHSoA is legally committed to using any profits to fund outreach workshops and exhibitions for local disadvantaged children and vulnerable adults, helping them to express themselves through art, and learn new, valuable skills.
WHSoA fills a gap in comprehensive, holistic short-course art education in the west Hampshire area, particularly important at a time when art & design are being marginalised from the national curriculum, encouraging an increased sense of well-being for students of all ages.
We create an empowering and non-judgemental atmosphere in which our students can re-discover old skills, or learn new ones, reduce stress and increase self-esteem and creativity.
WHSoA is applying to the OFSTED voluntary childcare register, which will enable parents to pay via the tax-free childcare voucher scheme. Our courses and workshops will always be at or below market rate.
