We keep hearing that our female friends want to learn to fly-fish together in a welcoming environment.
Weaving along an unkempt riverbank with a doddery river-keeper just wasn’t fun!
Fishing is one of the most popular sports in the UK and we are on a mission to make it even more accessible.
So we have organised a day bringing together a highly regarded local guide, Rollo Grandy, and great food & wine, all just outside Stockbridge.
Timings: Sunday 24th September 2017. Arrive at 11.00, leave after drinks from 1600.
Location: Horsebridge Lake, Kings’ Somborne. Parking is available at the lake.
Our guides:
Rollo Grandy will guide – Glorious Game’s Head of Fishing – he has been a qualified fly fishing guide for seven years, and works on the local rivers and lakes around Stockbridge.

What’s included?
- Fish
- All the fishing kit you will need including rods, reels and flies
- Lunch, wine, drinks and nibbles through the day
What’s not included?
- A current £6 environment agency licence to fish for trout. (We will tell you how to get one.)
