In The President’s Ring (1)
This year we are pleased to welcome back Jason Smythe and his Adrenaline Tourinto our President’s (main) Ring along with a Parade and Display of Iberian horses and horsemanship and a ‘special something’ by the Women’s Institute as they celebrate their 100th anniversary the this year’s show. The traditional vintage and preserved machinery parade will take place in the morning and again in the afternoon, when they will be joined by a few of the more modern agricultural machinery available. We will also welcome back into the ring the Grand Parade of cattle and sheep, the Parade of Hounds, the Private Driving class and the Heavy Horse Turnout class and Parade.
At Special Exhibition ‘A’
New Forest Outdoor Activity Centre will have a range of displays and activites including shelter building etc.
By the Fur and Feather marquee
Military Farriers competition using bellow-fired forges to make horse shoes etc.
Food Zone
Welcome back to the ever popular Kids Kitchen, run by Halterworth School, where children can ‘have a go’
Also returning is the Bakery Demonstration, this year featuring special breads for the dining table
The Demonstration Theatre has a full day of demonstrations lined up including the Women’s Institute (as part of their 100th anniversary celebrations) and Shelina Permalloo (the 2012 winner of BBC’s MasterChef).A wonderful selection of local and artisan foods and drinks will be available to purchase and try.
