There’s plenty of festive fun at Mottisfont, with a new family trail inspired by the Twelve Days of Christmas. Come and have a go from 26 November – 3 January.

Pick up your own ‘songbook’ at visitor reception to start the trail. It’s packed with things to find and do as you adventure through all the song’s verses.

Make your own ‘Lords a-leaping’, sing, dance and draw. You’ll spot lots of themed decorations around the grounds, including swans in the stream. Discover your inner pipers and drummers at the end of the trail, with instruments to play with.

Suggested donation £1 per trail.

Visiting Mottifont is great with the family. There are:

• Baby-changing facilities in access friendly toilets.
• Pushchairs are admitted around the grounds and in all catering outlets, though not in the house due to space restrictions.
• Hip-carrying infant seats are available for loan in the house.
• Children’s menu is available from The Old Kitchen and Coach House Café.
• Highchairs and baby food warming facilities are available in The Old Kitchen and Coach House Café.
• Picnic spaces available around the grounds.
