THE MAYFLOWER THEATRE, SOUTHAMPTON
The Mayflower Theatre is the biggest theatre on the south coast with over 2,300 seats in the auditorium – they bring a diverse range of shows to Southampton, presenting a mixture of spectacular touring productions, from musicals – many direct from the West End – to dance, opera, drama, ballet and comedy.
Below is an overview of the year ahead – most shows will require plenty of advanced booking especially as the runs are so short.
The Mayflower is very easily to get to: it is a short drive from both Junction 5 (Westbound) and Junction 3 (Eastbound) of the M27 and Junction 14 of the M3 following signs of the City Centre. The postcode is SO15 1GE. i
It does not have its own parking but there are two large multi-storey car parks within 3 minutes walk of the Theatre. MSCP West Park Road and Grosvenor Square both have 500+ spaces and are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Charging times vary at both.
