Julie, at Novelty Bakes, is an artist who retrained as a baker and now specialises in creating unique novelty celebration cakes to her customer’s specification. Working from photos and the recipient’s particular interests, Julie can create a centrepiece cake that will surprise and delight your loved ones.

To order your cake feel free to visit the workshop at the Fairground Craft and Design Centre at Weyhill from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm Wednesdays – Saturdays. Here you can browse through their folders of cakes previously created or speak to someone about other ideas you may have.

A word of warning…her cakes are so in demand that you will need to give sufficient notice. If, like me, you live a little further afield, ring to book a cake collection date (i.e. day before or day that cake is required), then you only need to pop in a few days before to discuss the design.
