Polar Exchange was borne out of the desire to find a happy home for one barely used child’s ski suit in 2000.

Still under the direction of the original owners, Juliet Blanshard and Nicola Robinson, Polar Exchange now stocks a wide range of new and used skiwear and accessories for all ages, tastes and skiing abilities. Whether you are an experienced powder hound or a total novice, aged between two and 82, Polar Exchange can advise on what you need for your next trip to the slopes.

From jackets to ski trousers, goggles, glasses and gloves, socks, snowboots, baselayers, helmets and much more, Polar Exchange carefully sources a wide range of skiwear and accessories from suppliers in the U.K., Europe and as far afield as Nepal. Each item is selected on the basis of value for money and its ability to perform on the mountain.  Alongside the new skiwear Polar Exchange offers their ever popular second-hand range. Consequently, they can kit you out for the slopes whatever your budget, age and ability.

Polar Exchange operates from a beautiful thatched barn in Lower Wield, East Hampshire where their extensive collection is displayed for you to browse and try on at your leisure. One of the team will always be on-hand to answer your questions, make suggestions and ensure you find what you want.

Their opening dates are from mid-October to Easter, seven days a week.  They are happy to accommodate evening and week-end appointments, but please ring or e-mail  in advance to be sure they are ‘at home’ as they also sell off-site.  There is plenty of parking and there may be a cuppa…
