Come join us on the Sunday 28th May 2017 at Tidworth Polo Club for Heroes Day featuring “The Heroes Cup” where injured servicemen and women play alongside members of the Army team.
The gates open at 1100hrs with the first match at midday featuring the Duke of York Cup. This annual skirmish between the Royal Navy and the RAF seeing the Navy trying to torpedo the ball between the goal posts with the RAF dropping their bombs right back!
1400hrs brings you the excitement of ‘The Heroes Cup’ where the Help for Heroes team show you how they have come on in leaps and bounds from the 2016 game. A truly sensational game that will bring inspiration to everyone.
The last match of the day that rockets off at 1600hrs is the highest handicapped game of the day – The British Army Quartet against WIP (Women in polo). Yes you have it…….. The all male British Army team against the Girls!
So if 2016 has anything to go by this incredibly entertaining game will be hard, fast, furious and certainly action packed! Last year the whole grounds came alive and we can honestly say it will be the fastest you heart will ever beat…… sitting down!
The Heroes Cup Day is not just about the Polo. This is a day for all the family and also includes a wonderful hospitality tent provided by CLC Events. This includes Champagne lunches and delicious English Afternoon country cream teas.
The fun continues for the kids with a bouncy castle, face painting and climbing wall.
Fancy some shopping? This year will see plenty of wonderful and unusual trade stands.
