Description:
Longstock Park Nursery, on the Leckford Estate, is running a hands on workshop Friday 3rd February where you will learn how to prune Apples and other Top Fruit in their own orchards, and on their nursery.
The day will start with a short presentation in the Nursery, and then you will be off to the Fruit Farm! The team of experts will guide you through the basics of care and pruning to get the most out of your fruit trees for a bumper crop next Autumn, answer all your questions, as well as explain the best method of planting and staking trees for quick establishment.
Lunch is included, and all tools provided.
Dress for all weathers (snow??) as the workshop will be mainly outside.
