GUARDHOG offer a range of household insurance and risk management solutions for clients who are in
the short-term rental market and we are looking for someone to join the insurance product team. Not
only do we have our own guest damage protection product (HOSTCOVER) we also work as a traditional
broker to source main underline insurance for home owners & property management companies and
therefore we are looking for a candidate who can work across both areas.
Responsibilities:
Deal with new and existing HOSTCOVER and home insurance clients, including taking risk
information to provide new quotations
Be responsible for ensuring stays are covered on HOSTCOVER which are received via Guesty (and
other platform) reports and host directly
Be responsible for multiple inboxes
Prepare household renewal invitations (including sourcing & saving invitation from insurers)
Liaise with clients and underwriters (by phone & email)
Skills and experience you need (not limited to)
- Experience of working within a regulated insurance environment, and specifically within home insurance products
- Ideally Cert CII or similar insurance qualification
- Positive attitude with a flexible and resilient approach to change
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity and commitment when working both remotely and in the office
- Ability to use own initiative when prioritising your workload
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when communicating with customers both written and verbally
- Computer literate with the ability to learn new systems

insurance business, both in size, but also potentially in terms of product breadth, specifically in

When, where and what is in it for you
Start date: ASAP (expected July 2022)
Location: Our Operations HQ function is based just outside the market town of Stockbridge
in Hampshire, and we would expect this role to be principally office based
Flexibility: Whilst we are not a “work from home” business, we do provide a great deal of
flexibility so as to allow the best candidates to join us, and also allow for the nuisances of
daily life
Commitment: A minimum initial commitment of at least 4 days per week, but ideally with
room to grow towards full-time
Remuneration: Dependent on experience and fit for the position, our compensation package
will include a competitive salary and holiday allowance, share options and support through
relevant training programmes as required
