Online Retail Assistant / E-commerce Assistant 

Your Employment Status: 

Employed Full-time permanent contract 

Location: 

O&P London shares an office with one of the family’s other businesses – Access Care. The office is in the idyllic village of Goodworth Clatford, Hampshire. A commutable distance from Salisbury, Romsey, Andover, Basingstoke, or Winchester. The village has lovely countryside for walking, a park nearby, a personal training gym a few minutes away and good pubs perfect for a spot of lunch! There is an office pup too, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel too called ‘Chloe’! 

Your Salary: 

£20.000

The Purpose of your position: 

We are looking for someone help the shop grow online, but also to support the high street store. We are looking for someone to get stuck in and help wherever necessary! 

Why we are looking: 

We need more hands on deck to grow our online presence. 

An idea of your duties: 

• Using ecommerce platform Shopify – Loading products, writing product descriptions, SEO 

• Website layout and flow 

• Stock Checks 

• Preparing, packaging & posting online orders 

• Liaise with suppliers regarding missing/damaged items or returns 

• Handle all returns, organising replacements or refunds as necessary 

• Running errands from office to shop if necessary 

• Digital marketing activities including social media – design, implementation & reporting 

• Email marketing and database marketing – design, implementation & reporting 

• Customer Service – Respond to routine customer enquiries via e-mail and telephone 

Experience/Skills/Qualifications that would really help you get going (but not essential) Training will be given: 

  • • A passion for fashion 
  • • Shopify – ecommerce platform 
  • • Asana – project management system 
  • • Canva / Photoshop 
  • • Creative writing 
  • • Good knowledge and understanding of SEO keyword use 
  • • Paid search campaign experience 
  • • Knowledge/experience of digital marketing 
  • • Multi-channel social media experience 
  • • Outgoing, fun, enthusiastic personality 
  • • A willingness to lead and be self-motivated to learn new skills 
  • • Impeccable attention to detail 
  • • Driving is essential for the role with own car 
  • • Competence in ‘Microsoft 365’
